Schools should focus on academic success and passing examinations. Skills such as cookery, dressmaking and woodwork should not be taught at school as it is better to learn these from family and friends. To that extent do you agree or disagree.

There has been a noticeable trend where some believe that schools should place an emphasis on children’s success and passing tests.Soft skills, for example in the form of cookery,dressmaking and woodwork should not be taught at school as they can be acquired from parents and friends.In my view, I totally agree with this opinion

The proponent that life skills should be learned from family and friends as opposed to schools are underpinned by certain reasons.Chief of these is that it strengthens students’ bond with their loved ones.This is predicated on the assumption that when children accept to do one activities with their family or peers, they are allowed to exchange concepts and interact with their relatives.This can be seen in the way the VietNamese students usually make a delicious meal with their mother each Saturday.In this time , they can acquire hands -on knowledge or precious recipe or even question some uncertain problems.If this is done on the more regular basis,undoubtedly can closer relationships between parents and children be sustained.

• Besides , I note some benefits of focusing only on academic success and passing examinations.One main perk is that children are allowed to be exposed to a wide range of knowledge and broaden their horizons, contributing to more opportunities to choose their career paths.Of course,one might argue that a educational system tailored with activities which help children develop their skills also enables the learners to become knowledgeable.However , this line of reasoning is not sound because the number of lectures are not as much ,intensive and insightful as that provided in the educational environment where academic elements are more emphasized.For the reason, I doubt that students in such a educational system may be allowed to better themselves and be well cognizant of any aspects in society.
• To recapitulate, I would argue that we should concentrate on improving the learners ability to cope with exams and consider academic success.This is because they can get access to ample sources of beneficial knowledge , which seemingly have a positive bearing on their future career.Besides, schools should let their children spend their time on learning life skills with their family members and friends because such activities can establish intimacy between them and their loved ones.
